Terms of service

1. Agreement

By using Symphonia ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms. Symphonia is provided by Ancient Designs LLC ("we", "us") to Orthodox Christian parishes and their members.

2. Your responsibilities

• Keep account credentials confidential.
• Use the Service only for lawful parish administration.
• Do not attempt to access data belonging to other parishes.
• Ensure that the parishioner data you upload was collected lawfully and with appropriate consent.

3. Our responsibilities

• Maintain reasonable uptime — we target 99.9% monthly uptime for the application.
• Encrypt parish data in transit and at rest.
• Notify you within 72 hours if we become aware of a security incident affecting your parish data.
• Provide a complete data export within 14 days of any reasonable request.

4. Pricing & payment

Plans and pricing are published at /pricing. New parishes receive a 90-day no-cost trial. After the trial, parishes are billed monthly or annually based on their selected plan. We will give 14 days' notice before any price increase to existing parishes.

5. Termination

You may cancel at any time. Upon cancellation, we provide a full data export and retain your data in cold storage for 90 days, after which it is permanently deleted.

6. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of the Service is limited to the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim. We make no warranty about specific outcomes from using the Service.

7. Changes

We may update these Terms. For material changes, we will email account administrators at least 30 days in advance.
